Course - Willow Bark Container - Saturday 18th March 2023

On the course you will learn how to use willow bark to weave an attractive bark basket with a square or oblong base. You'll find out how and when to gather bark, understand how to prepare and store the material, and build your own basket using different barks and weaves.
During the day, each stage will be lead with a demonstration and you'll make your a square based basket to your own design and be able to make a handle from bark, rush or Japanese craft band to finish it off.
Location is at my workshop at Grit Studios in Stockport.
The course fee includes all materials, beginners are welcome and all tools are provided.
