Sunday 18th May 2025 - Eight Cornered Bias Plaited Baskets

This bias plaited basket is intriguing to make, and stems from the the pouch forms and bias plaited boxes which begin in a similar way. We'll be using different flat materials to weave and play with contrasts and patterns in your design, and get creative with surface texture.

The course is held at my workshop at GRIT Studios in Stockport, a collective of makers and artists.

Fee includes all materials and tools are provided. It's suitable for beginners and those with previous experience.

The course is 9.30 a.m. - 5 p.m. Hot drinks are provided, please bring lunch.
